This standard steel stringer bridge crosses Hazel Road east of Earling.
Built in 1955, the bridge features a single steel stringer span, approached by several trestle spans. Milwaukee Road documents refer to this as a twinned deck girder. The entire bridge sits on timber substructures. It is unknown if the bridge was moved here in 1955.
This type of structure is often seen on American railroads to cross small creeks and roads.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition. Little significant deterioration was found on the bridge.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
